Your degree or diploma must be authenticated by the Saudi Cultural Mission and attested by the Saudi Consulate before it can be used for the Work Visa process.*

Authentication Steps & Requirements

The following is required by the Saudi Cultural Mission (SACM) for the authentication of your degree:

1. A signed copy of the employment contract 
2. Sealed and updated official transcript**
3. Signed SACM Consent Letter
4. Verification from the National Student Clearinghouse. To receive this verification, visit Degree Verify***
5. Copy of your passport
6. Copy of your degree or diploma
7. A sealed Completed and stamped Courses Form from your College/University establishing the nature and content of the student’s completed coursework (online, distance learning, or regular classroom). This letter must specify all online credits if any, and whether the applicant studied on the main campus of the University.
   
   
   

Once the SACM authentication has been completed your degree will be hand-carried to the Saudi Embassy for the final certification stamp.

*If you do not have a 4 year degree, we can authenticate your certificates through the U.S. Department of State and then attest them through the Saudi Embassy provided that they are directly connected to the Job Title offered by the host company and support your qualifications for the position offered. 
**If you have transfer credits as part of your degree, you will need to provide a sealed copy of the transcripts from the original college/university, in addition to another consent letter and a completed and stamped Courses Form for the additional transcript.
***If your College/University does not participate in the National Student Clearinghouse, please contact the institution’s registrar's office and obtain a sealed verification letter instead. 

The Power of Attorney (POA) is a letter certified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs allowing APVI to act as a representative of the host company, including the block visa number and issuance date. This document will be provided to you by the Saudi host company. 

If your last employment in Saudi Arabia ended within the last 2 years, you must submit a release letter from your previous employer. Or a "Final Exit" letter. 

If you currently hold a valid Saudi Visa of a different type you must download and complete the linked sample cancellation letter as part of your application. The letter must be: completed with all necessary information, hand-signed, and  notarized.
